Fear is present in all our lives. Good fear protects us, anxious fear piles up, and bad fear paralyzes us. Where do fear and faith meet in the Christian life? 1 Peter 1:17-21 teaches us how life with God as our father, judge, and redeemer guards us careless living. We have a motivation for holy living found in love of our Father, our accountability to him as our just judge, and the precious sacrifice of Jesus his Son.
