Plan a Visit
Join us for worship each Sunday morning in Kent!
Our Location
We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00AM in the main auditorium of Kent Roosevelt.
Address
Theodore Roosevelt High School
1400 N Mantua Street
Kent, Ohio 44240
When You Arrive
It’s easiest to enter the campus at the light on Rt. 43—please pull in here and follow the drive around to the main parking lot. You’ll find our signs there welcoming you through the main doors!
For Families
We have a full nursery and kids ministry in classrooms during the worship service.
Check-in is directly inside the main entrance as you come through the front doors. If it’s your first time visiting Parkside Kent, we’ll be happy to help you add your child's name to our digital registration system, print off a name tag for your child, and provide a label for you to turn in when you pick up your child. The process is simple and provides a safe and secure setting for kids!
Children who are birth-Kindergarten can go straight to their classroom when you arrive. Kids in 1st grade through 3rd grade can join the main service until they are dismissed to their class right before the sermon. (Kids are also welcome to join us throughout the service!)
What to Expect
Our service is about one hour in length with thirty minutes of praise and prayer and thirty minutes of preaching.
We’ll be happy to greet you and help you find a seat in the auditorium when you arrive—and accessible seating is available as you enter. We sing a mixture of newer worship music and well-known hymns, aiming to sing songs that turn us toward God, teach theological truths, and exalt Jesus Christ. Our practice is to teach through a book of the Bible from beginning to end by examining the original meaning of the text and how it applies in our lives today.
Worship Music
This Sunday
Save this playlist to listen to and learn the songs we’ll be singing together at Parkside Kent! Pairs really nicely with the drive to church on Sunday morning. Regularly updated, and often for the next few Sundays in a row.
Songs We Sing
We’re still a new church, so we haven’t yet sung all of these songs together—but this playlist represents the general tone of the music you can expect to sing at Parkside Kent! We usually turn on this playlist before the service starts.
After the Service
When the service is over, come see us at our Next Steps table!
We’d love to welcome you, answer any questions, and share a gift to thank you for coming to worship with us.
