Christmas is full of songs describing joy and holiday cheer. While the world sings for a few weeks do Christians have a joy that spans the whole year? Such joy does not come easy in a world marked by futility, brokenness, and injustice. Wonderfully God’s people have a new song to sing because he has brought salvation through his Son the Lord Jesus. We and all creation are called to bow before his Lordship and sing his praise. There is great reason to sing Joy to the World because “he comes to make his blessings flow far as the curse is found.”
