Week by week, we turn to God’s word and hear the gospel proclaimed. When we come to the communion table, we see the gospel pictured. The elements point beyond themselves to the reality of what is ours by faith. How we approach this meal matters greatly, as we remember what Christ has done, declare our communion with Him, and look forward to His return.
