Although we face various challenges and difficulties in life, the apostle Paul reminds us that for those who are in Christ there is a future glory that outweighs all of it. A future reality that we can be sure of no matter what our circumstances may be. Accordingly, the call for Christians is to look at God's faithfulness as it worked out through his many blessings such as salvation, sonship, and the Holy Spirit, as the assurance of that future glory. And in this, our hope becomes a confident expectation of good things to come—of a future where we can enjoy God for all our days.
